cold radiators unlit fireplaces
I liked the food. I found that fireplaces were not lit. Radiators were cold, so I kept my coat on. The room was too cold. I probably won't come back until summer.

friendly staff food quality
the pub offered a cute atmosphere and friendly staff. attention to hospitality was apparent and admirable. I especially commend the louisiana gumbo and fish pie. the food quality was high for pub fare.

the hotel is close to bus stops, roughly 100 yards. this makes local transport very accessible. it allows guests to explore nearby AREAS. the surroundings seemed quite peaceful.

the room contained tea and coffee facilities. the room offered a working tv. a hairdryer was also available. the garden looked beautiful and well maintained.

decent food and clean rooms
friendly staff made-to-order breakfast modern ensuite difficult contact non-existent phone no response
the staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast was made to order with a variety of choices, and the dinner was delicious. the room was super clean, spacious, and very comfortable.. with a modern ensuite. it was perfect for a ladies getaway.
i found it difficult to contact the hotel. the phone number on their web page did not actually exist. i tried to cancel the rooms due to issues through hotels.com. there was no sign of money and no response to email and no way of actually speaking to them

good breakfast attentive staff nice room hot water
i had a very good breakfast. the location was great, with a bus stop into the city just opposite with regular service. the staff was great, i appreciated their help.
the room was based out the back of the inn. it was a nice little room, fairly cosy. there was no hot water for our shower in the morning, a problem.
