Just OK Stay

thin doorsflimsy bed
The room felt quite basic. Thin doors let in a lot of noise from the hallway and bathroom, and the bed seemed flimsy. I had trouble sleeping because of the noise and how much the bed moved whenever anyone shifted.

A Wonderful Stay

friendly staffquality linenspoor soundproofing
The staff was friendly. The bar had a cozy atmosphere with a log fire. The bedrooms are in a separate building and are newly decorated. Fresh flowers in the hallway were a very nice touch. The room had quality linens and towels.
I noticed a slight issue with the soundproofing in the bedroom. I could hear noise from an adjacent room.

roomy accommodationground floorhigh noise
The apartment block was roomy. The pub has a quaint look and food was delicious.
The room was on the ground floor next to the main car park and entry and exit. High noise levels prevented a restful stay, even after i asked for a quiet room. I did not was good, but I would insist on a different room next time.
