great shower daily replenishment
The ensuite was large and modern and offered a great shower. AMAZINGLY, there were plenty of teas to choose from with daily replenishment and biscuits!
The dinner menu in our room was old. It was INACCURATE, so I was a little disappointed.

reasonable stay

clean room tidy room friendly staff slow service limited greens inattentive waiter
the room was clean and tidy. the staff are friendly and the food is good. i stayed here before as the location suited my needs. i had a comfy bed.
our waiter didn't notice that our drinks hadn't arrived , and when we told him , it took even more time. a pie was supposed to have "seasonal greens" with it , which in practice was one carrot cut in half ! the waiter took a long time to give us menus , and never returned to take an order.

lovely decor friendly service stale bread vinegar aftertaste
the superior double room had lovely decor, i felt very comfortable. breakfast was also fantastic with very friendly service upon checking in and out. food was really good too. dinner was also great.
the outside of the hotel looks tired on approach. i ordered the root veg curried soup however, it lacked seasoning. the sourdough bread tasted stale. the braised steak sauce left a vinegar aftertaste.

spacious room clean room ample parking smaller room old picture same amount
I found the room very spacious and clean. I also enjoyed the food and drink choices in the restaurant. Plenty of parking spots were available, and I had a great night's sleep in my cozy haven.
I noticed that the room we moved to seemed smaller. I ended up paying the same amount as before, though. the picture on the wall looked old, like it had fallen many times and wasn't stuck together well.
