excellent breakfastloud musicdistant parking
the breakfast was excellent, a proper full scottish (i even tried the haggis!).
The room was quite noisy, especially late into the night. i could clearly hear the music from the pub downstairs well past midnight. also, finding parking nearby was a real struggle. I ended up having to park quite far away (nearly a ten-minute walk).

The hotel location worked great for seeing shows. It was also a short walk to an art gallery.
The bar played loud music until closing time. Nobody seemed to listen but they did shout over it. It made sleeping difficult before midnight.

The place has a really good location near union street and bus stops. the rooms were lovely and the beds felt great! the staff was very helpful and friendly. I think the kitchen provided good food and drinks.
the chargeable parking outside added some extra cost to my stay.

the bar offered a great selection of beers in a busy atmosphere. i also noticed they had great bar food available to order. the breakfast was anything but disappointing, the portions were huge and delicious!
