charming pub stay

helpful staffgood breakfastefficient heatingnoisy doors
i enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff . The breakfast included with the room was good. i found the food in the pub to be competitively priced, a bonus. The room in the adjoining building was a good size and featured efficient electric heating.
the walls felt thin, and i could hear guests coming in and out of neighbouring rooms. The doors were a bit noisy, WHICH disrupted the quiet atmosphere. next time, i'll bring earplugs.

Mixed Experience at This Inn

strange smellsmall shower
The room smelled a bit odd, not exactly fresh. I found the bathroom could use some upgrades as the shower was rather small. It was difficult to maneuver. The toilet didn't flush well. I had to get creative to get it to work. I think some attention to these details would make a big difference.

The staff members were indeed friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly after I ordered it. The vegetables tasted freshly cooked. I particularly enjoyed the cauliflower cheese served in a separate dish.
The bathroom felt cold until I turned on the heater.
