My room included Tudor style paneling on one wall. It created a special atmosphere. The breakfast waitress was so attentive. I appreciated her attitude toward customer service.

This hotel is just a short and direct walk from the car park. I found the walking tour included the hotel. I started the tour right outside the door, very convenient.

lovely surprise
comfy bedslovely breakfasttraffic noise
the beds were really comfy , and the rooms had everything we needed. staff were very accommodating and breakfast was lovely.
i was in room 1. i slept until 2:30 am and was then kept awake by traffic noise all night , not least the garbage truck at 6 and 6:30am. the location of this room at the front of the hotel is not fit for purpose due to the noise from the road as trucks pass through the town all night.

The location was central. Breakfast tasted very good.
the hotel felt cold. the boiler had broken down, and there was only a small convector heater. the rear fire escape was in total darkness, and i think this created a serious risk to guests
