Really good Stay, a Tranquil Experience

I found the staff to be super friendly. They welcomed me warmly. The food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed having a private onsen, it added a real touch of luxury to my stay. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was excellent.
The coffee service had some limitations. It wasn't available before breakfast without an extra fee.

the staff was very nice. they accommodated all my needs and ensured i had the best stay. they even dropped me off at the bus station.. it helped me figure out how to get to my next city. the food was delicious too.
the hotel is showing its age in terms of cleanliness. i also felt limited inside the hotel, as taking walks on the hotel seemed against the rules, though this did ensure the place was very quiet.

wonderful ryokan experience
onsen facilities
the onsen facilities were clean and well kept. i enjoyed using both the cypress and stone baths in the afternoon and morning. i felt relaxed and healed after my stay here. the kaiseki dinner and breakfasts were delicious and some of the best food i've eaten.

the staff was super caring and attentive, trying to communicate despite the language barrier. as they discovered it was my birthday soon, that was a very nice touch.

the inn had a private onsen, i used it often. the garden was well maintained. the open-air hot spring attached to the room was a nice feature, the water had a perfect temperature, i found the experience very relaxing.
