a lovely stay

I found a great location a short walk from the station. the staff were friendly and willing to help. breakfast was quite good. I liked selecting from the options. a variety of restaurants exist close by for dining.
the hotel did not have tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, just on the landing.

i found the hotel to be very clean. complimentary water, teas and coffees were available, a great touch. the bed was very comfy. the room had all the amenities needed for my short stay.
the hotel informed us very late about the restaurant closure. this meant there was nowhere to properly relax except in the small lobby. i feel i should have been notified earlier or offered a discount.

The hotel's location near Farringdon station made transportation easy. A coffee machine on every floor was convenient. The French-style breakfast offered a good start to the day.
The red lighting in the room was off putting. There was no toothpaste available at reception. I was asked to nominate days for room cleaning. My room was not cleaned one day and I had to ask for clean towels.
