The apartment was really beautiful. It was designed to a high standard with lovely extra touches, like a nice coffee machine and luxury toiletries. Its location in busy, bustling Leith was GREAT, just up from the tram stop.
I found it difficult to open and close the blinds. I had to climb on top of the bench to open or close blinds in the living area. I was unable to turn off the radiator in the biggest bedroom, so it was VERY hot all night, despite the window being as open as could be.

The mattress provided inadequate support. I found the springs rather intrusive. A topper would have improved comfort considerably. There was also a distinct absence of wardrobe space. This meant clothes remained in a pile, diminishing the sense of order in the living area.

Charming Apartment Experience

The apartment was very clean and it felt quite warm upon entry. The tram stop is VERY close. A short walk gets you into the city center within 15 minutes. Multiple cafes, restaurants, and bars are a short distance away, so that's useful.
I noted the absence of a mirror in the upstairs toilet, that's the only minor issue I encountered.
