the room was clean and the bed was comfortable
the restaurant service was slow delays of up to 40 minutes between courses occurred the staff was overworked this resulted in poor service i feel the hotel is overpriced considering these issues

I found the location near the common perfect for dog walking. The views are GREAT, and breakfast tasted delicious, including the fish and chips available one evening. The staff provided EXCELLENT service and attention to detail.

The staff was always very helpful. Laura and Merlin offered great service at the bar. I noticed that the hotel location provides a perfect setting. Plenty of parking available too.

The bed offered considerable comfort for sound SLEEP, and the room featured beautiful views. I really appreciated the size and amenities available, everything looked clean and well-kept. The shower had good pressure too.

the staff were very friendly and cute. i liked the lovely moulton brown toiletries provided in the bathroom, they smelled amazing. the shower and bath were great. the venue had beautiful decor adding to its appeal (it was a delight to see the place).
finding the reception from the car park was a little difficult.

my room was warm and very comfortable and it had good mobile reception. a great shower and a bath were available. the coffee bags were not ideal. (a coffee machine would be better)

the location is fine and the national trust common land is nearby. there is plenty of parking, and signage for the reception were good.
the sandwich i bought were mediocre. it costs 14.50 pounds for few slices of beef on white bread, that was from fairly standard sliced white loaf. i can't recommend the food on the strength of what i had.
