lovely stay!

historic buildinghelpful stafffresh meals
the hotel is really pretty and the gardens are well kept. the building's history as a manor house and convent is interesting! the staff were really helpful and nice, especially during breakfast. the food there was lovely and i enjoyed the order for freshly cooked meals instead of the usual buffet.
the room service felt a bit rushed, it seemed more like a quick tidy than a thorough clean. but it was okay.

not the best value for the cost

helpful staffdamp smellcheap sausages
the staff were very helpful and always available.
The room felt a little dated, and it had a damp smell. breakfast wasn't great, especially the sausages. They tasted cheap. the location was not ideal because it was far from everything, i had to spend extra money on taxis. i was a little disapointed with my stay, specially after paying so much.
