the room had a bright feel and it was comfortable. i had a short walk down to the beach. the superior double room included all necessary amenities.
The kettle had to be boiled on the floor as there was not an accessible plug near a raised surface. It was a slight inconvenience.

the location proved ideal, with views from the room that met my expectations.
my recent visit left me disappointed. the food quality was subpar, and the staff did not seem concerned about the issues. the menu online was also different than what was offered upon arrival, with significant price discrepancies, i felt somewhat cheated.

Wonderful Stay at Coastal Inn

The fresh, local produce made for delicious meals. Staff were both cute and efficient . On-site free parking eliminated any concerns about finding a space. I also appreciated the variety of products available on the hospitality tray in my room.

The inn provided a lovely location. It offered easy access to nearby attractions. I especially liked the short walk to a gorgeous beach. The beach offered fine views of Burgh Island.

My room was simple and clean. It provided a pleasant space to relax. I found the available tea and biscuits a nice touch. The outlook from the room offered a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.

the location was convenient to the beach.
the room felt quite cold since the central heating was not on i had to boil the kettle on the floor because the plug was not near a raised surface it was also disappointing that the breakfast time was limited to 9-9.30 i had to walk outside to get to the pub and it did not unlock until exactly 9.

i really enjoyed the quick service at the bar. nick, the bartender, was super cute! the atmosphere was also amazing. the location is excellent for family trips (especially to nearby salcombe).
i had to boil the kettle on the floor, there was nowhere to plug it in higher. the room and bathroom were freezing because the central heating wasn't on. luckily, there was a small electric heater (but the bathroom stayed very cold!).

the staff were friendly and helpful.
I ordered the chicken and leek pie, but it contained far more pastry than filling. the pastry itself was dry and thick. The chicken was virtually nonexistent. the chips were also undercooked (they tasted like they'd been reheated from the previous day).

I loved the location. It's convenient. the dinner was AMAZING!!! i also found the staff in the pub very friendly. It created a good vibe.
The room and ensuite were pretty small. the woman who showed me to my room clearly resented doing so. She never made eye contact or smiled.
