Wonderful riverside stay

The spa offered a sauna and steam room. The changing room was clean. The spa had iced lemon water. The Pen & Cob bar area was relaxing.
The touch screen showers were difficult to use in the spa. Only the bucket shower worked. The hot tub area was noisy. It did not feel like a relaxing spa.

The hotel is central. Everything I needed was within walking distance. It is easy to reach various shops and local attractions from here. The riverside location is quite picturesque.

Breakfast included many options. The restaurant provided good quality food. Jack was very pleasant. He provided excellent service at brunch. The cocktails were tasty and well prepared.

the interior design is excellent. there are many places available to sit down, have a drink, or chat with others. the reception staff was very professional. i had a lovely, relaxing stay.
the room was a bit dull compared to the communal spaces.

The room was clean and a good size for two people. The hotel location was great with beautiful views of the river. All staff were friendly and helpful (especially at the reception desk).
The cooked breakfast buffet was only warm. Cold plates were provided, therefore breakfast had to be eaten quickly. There was no air con in the room, and instructions were not provided.

The en suite was roomy. The shower had good temperature and pressure. I appreciated that my room featured two towel swans and rose petals. It was a nice, special touch. The bed provided supreme comfort. The television was an appropriate size.
The staff at breakfast were NOT overly friendly. They seemed quite stressed and removing dirty dishes was a bit slow.
