the breakfast each day was a lovely start. simone was excellent and very attentive to my needs. i explored london for long days and rex was always helpful, i will be back. the hotel provided a nice first stay.

The lighting in the room could be improved. It was just adequate. the staff were friendly, and helpful on the whole. the location had a lovely river view from the balcony.

The river room had a comfortable bed. it also had a spacious bathroom with quality toiletries. the room included blackout curtains ensuring restful sleep. A great view. the tv offered multiple channels.

The cocktails at the bar were REALLY good.

The river view room I booked barely showed the river. The tv did not work. When I called reception, a woman CAME to fix it and had to climb over the bathtub. Then I discovered there were no duvets, just a thin blanket. REALLY, for that price?

the location next to the thames met my expectations.

I booked two rooms and was disappointed by the extortionate prices for extras. I even got charged £5.50 for each filter coffee refill. the service at the reception desk was poor. I won't stay here again.
