Charming Stay at Cantley
excellent foodfresh mealunique touchamazing jacuzzi
The food at the Stable Restaurant was excellent. Chef Craig created meals that were fresh and inventive. portion sizes were great. The outdoor pizza oven added a unique touch. I found the jacuzzi bath amazing.. a real treat after a long day.
I noticed slight wear on some furniture, yet it was not a big deal.

the venue itself is gorgeous. my allocated superior double or twin room was very clean with unlimited hot water. i appreciated the staff, they were very friendly and efficient.

charming stay with minor hiccups

I was really surprised by this hotel. the room was quite spacious and clean and the bed proved comfortable. it was quiet in the evening, so i slept very well. there was a desk area that helped when i needed to get some work done on my laptop. It was practical.
The bathroom seemed a little tired. The shower started off cold. then it suddenly became scalding hot. i had difficulty adjusting the water temperature and it took quite a while to rinse off shampoo. the tv also didn't work properly.

the grounds of the hotel were lovely! the building and setting created a very pleasant atmosphere. there were a couple of bars and restaurants on site, offering different choices .

breakfast was plentiful. i appreciated the setting in the stables area, it was a great way to start the day! staff was accomodating when it came to specific requests for pizza, nothing was too much trouble.
