this hotel was good, far from the maddening crowds yet very close to popular attractions. i appreciated the beautiful courtyard and the spacious room i stayed in. breakfast was excellent, and the team was attentive.
the room decor felt a little dated, and i noticed minor rust on the bathroom fixtures.

Fantastic Stay

My room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. The breakfast each morning was excellent. I appreciated the hotel calling a private water taxi for me for 70 Euros (VERY convenient).
The cleaning service was a little uneven one day. They did not replace the bathroom products.

Really good Canal-Side Experience

The location is indeed advantageous. Peggy Guggenheim Museum is nearby. I found airport transfers arranged by the concierge easy. Breakfast each morning was great and provided a lovely start to the day. The staff demonstrated attentive service consistently.
The room I booked overlooked a courtyard. It wasn't a bad view, but I would have preferred a room with a view of the canal instead.
