renovated house beautiful garden efficient team
The hotel is a renovated country house. It has a lovely garden with a fountain. The team was efficient (Benjamin stood out in the bar). The bedroom included a big claw foot bath.
The room temperature was difficult to adjust, it was too warm.

The restaurant food was superb for dinner. breakfast was also very good. the staff were friendly. That was nice.
the hotel pictures looked nicer than it actually was. the building needs refurbishment, especially the floors. sound proofing is lacking in the rooms.

wide choice quality food elegant decor
I found the breakfast service quite efficient. There was a wide choice of good quality food. I particularly enjoyed the elegant decor in a country style. The large bed also provided a comfortable night's sleep with good quality bedding.

charming ambience really good service delicious dinner
i visited because of its proximity to garden tours. the hotel features a charming ambience. the team provided really good service.. our classic double room was comfortably beautiful.
the room had some dust on the beams.

spiral staircase mismatch furniture
The staff was helpful, and the food served for breakfast was acceptable.
The spiral staircase lacked proper lighting. The furniture was a mismatch of odd pieces. I found black mold on the bath behind the taps under the shower (not ideal).

fantastic bar lovely garden freshly cooked breakfast
I appreciated the fantastic hotel bar and convenient in-house bar access. The garden area has a patio and outdoor seating. I liked those a lot. Breakfast was excellent , freshly cooked to order , and also included plenty of cereals and pastries.
The stone spiral staircase leading to my room did not have any lighting.
