the staff were friendly, and the setting of the hotel was nice.
room 2 was next to utility service rooms. from 06.45, an external door was slammed repeatedly, accompanied by loud chatter. this amounted to an unwarranted very early wake up call.

I enjoyed the traditional sunday roast. It was tender and flavorful with cooked vegetables, i found the staff attentive, especially during the meal. the historic building has a charming riverside location. it provided a relaxing and elegant atmosphere.
the breakfast could use more variety. getting extra toast required an additional charge. i believe this detail should be reconsidered.

the room felt quite spacious, it had a large kingsize bed. the bed was so comfortable, it ensured a restful night's sleep (i slept like a log!). the bathroom was very nice and spotlessly clean. i appreciated the warm welcome i received from the friendly staff upon arrival.
the breakfast was good, but i thought the full english breakfast should have been included in the room price.

the king room was tastefully decorated with attention to detail. the quality bedding added a touch of luxury and promised a restful stay. there was a decent shower with good water pressure, very refreshing.

the location is beautiful, very picturesque and peaceful. the grounds are lovely and well-kept. the conversion of the original water mill retains character, which makes this location unique.

i enjoyed the food in the restaurant. the coffee from the nespresso machine was a nice touch in the room. free parking was convenient, it saved me time and money, so i did not need to worry.
