convenient bus stopsshort walkwoodland walk
i found the bus stops right outside very convenient for getting into the city center. the train station was only a short walk away. the hotel's proximity to heriot-watt university allowed me to enjoy the woodland walk and lake. i appreciated that currie, with its local shops and pubs, was nearby.

inadequate cleaninggluten-free breakfast
the cleanliness really lacked. my room wasnt cleaned properly, and i had to ask for things like toilet paper. plus, getting gluten-free breakfast was like pulling teeth for my daughter, even after confirming twice by email. she basicly ate cornflakes the whole time, despite the hotel's promise, that's not good enough.
