excellent stay!
comfortable bedpowerful showerfriendly staff
the hotel provided high quality accommodation. rooms included comfortable beds and a powerful shower. breakfasts were delicious with a good choice of dishes. the staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them.
I found a rinsed mug with drying milk on the spoon and cup. This was unpleasant.

the hotel is part of a stadium with a fascinating history. it sits on a major bus route, providing transport to the city center in 10 minutes! this makes access to different parts of the area very simple.

the room was spotlessly clean and very big. it featured modern light switches and a large samsung tv on the wall. housecoats and slippers were available in the wardrobe for added convenience. tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps, and water were complimentary.

The reception staff greeted us with Prosecco, a lovely welcome. Our Plaza Room offered ample space with modern technology, a really fun addition! The bed felt massive. Bedding, too, was luxurious. Complimentary snacks and hot beverages added a warm touch to our arrival.
Marks dotted the walls and skirts-a very slight imperfection in an otherwise immaculate space. The breakfast was average. The sausages were not of the best quality. The breakfast experience was a slight letdown overall!

mixed feelings about my stay
dust everywhere
I found some issues. the mugs were not properly washed. There was dried milk on the spoon and cup. there were also hairs in the shower tray, so it didn't seem properly cleaned. Dust was everywhere, too. it was hard to relax, to be honest.

we got champagne and a taylor swift gift bag on arrival (we were there for the concert!). the room had lots of new tech! i loved that they played taylor swift music in the common areas. rooms were super quiet and the beds were very comfortable!!!
i went to make a hot drink, but the mug was rinsed instead of washed. there was drying milk on the spoon and cup. also, there were hairs in the shower tray, and lots of dust everywhere.

the skyline restaurant had reasonable prices and stayed open late for the after-concert crowds. the staff made a special taylor swift themed menu! the full scottish breakfast was ok, but the sausages were not great.

the hotel has a close walking proximity to murray field. there is also georgie's launderette around the corner. it is a 10 minute walk to haymarket train station, but the sidewalks aren't great in some areas.
