The staff promptly mailed documents I had forgotten to my next hotel. The hotel has a central location with shopping nearby. A spacious room included a balcony with a lake view. The beds were very comfortable.
The hotel exterior shows signs of needing attention, specifically rusted railings.

i found the location very convenient with beautiful views of the lake. the check-in process was friendly and quick. my room was recently updated with modern decor that contrasted nicely with the hotel's architecture. i received complimentary fruit and bottled water daily, a nice touch.
I observed some minor signs of wear in common areas and bathrooms. It could benefit from some upkeep.

I liked the location. the sunset from the balcony was amazing, and i saw it even from the bed! dinner included a 20% discount. breakfast had varied options. parking was near the hotel.
i must say, the bathroom felt a bit dated.

mixed experience with some drawbacks
lack of air conditioning outdated bathroom
the location was pretty good, i suppose.
The absence of proper air conditioning was a major issue. I had to keep the window open all night, so i heard every single car and person passing by. the bathroom felt quite outdated, and i noticed some mold in the shower (not a good look for a supposed 4-star place). the parking situation was also annoying. I thought i would park at the hotel's parking lot but it turned out to be a 'first come, first served' kind of thing (whatever that means).

friendly staff free upgrade unbeatable view
The staff was very friendly and helpful. i received a free upgrade to a room with a lake view. the location is awesome, convenient for shopping and dining. the view from the balcony is unbeatable. It is right next to the lake.
Cell reception was poor throughout the hotel. Wifi was nonexistent to unreliable.

blackout roller shutters soundproof doors convenient parking lakeside access
the room included blackout roller shutters, which ensured restful sleep. there was also a double set of doors that greatly improved soundproofing. the hotel provided convenient parking, a big help. the railway station was also easily accessible from the lakeside using outdoor escalators.
the minibar in my room was turned off for energy saving.

this hotel boasts a prime position right on the promenade, with numerous dining options nearby. it is a short walk, about ten minutes, from the train station, awesome for easy access to transportation, made exploring the region simple.
