clean roommissing kettletired furnishings
the room was elegant and very clean, which met my expectations.
i was disappointed with the lack of a kettle or coffee machine. this seemed like a significant oversight for a hotel of this caliber. i also found the furnishings looked a little tired (it might be just me, though).

warm welcomehard boiled eggs
The housekeeper came quickly when I requested an iron. An Australian waitress provided a warm welcome. She said it was her third day working there.
The breakfast service was slow. I asked for eggs and soldiers but received two hard boiled eggs initially.

The check-in process was smooth. the suite, a one-bedroom suite, was lovely. i had drinks in the bar. It was the perfect way to end the evening before going to a comfy bed!!!
i found the breakfast to be a total disappointment. the bacon was dry and i couldn't cut it. the sausage was tasteless, and there was a huge piece of black pudding.
