charming stay!
separate roomsclean hoteloutdoor seatingwall damage
the hotel rooms were separate from the pub. the hotel was clean. i liked the outdoor seating area. i enjoyed the pool table and beers.
some wall damage needed repair. access to check-in required walking through dining patrons. bringing luggage to the hotel across the drive seemed odd as it was unattended.

The staff was friendly!
Check-in took a long time. The toilet seat was loose. It felt unsafe. The restaurant food quality disappointed me. The chips seemed like frozen ends.

i was happy to check in early, convenient. the staff were friendly and check-in was very quick. the location proves ideal for visiting falkirk wheel and stirling castle.
The room needed a paint. This was noticeable. also, the bed was not very comfy. the room bin had not been emptied. It contained rubbish from previous guests.
