train station proximitypoor soundproofingingredient omission
the hotel's proximity to the train station proved convenient.
My room suffered from poor soundproofing. I heard noise from both the hallway and an adjacent room. sleeping became difficult because of loud conversations late at night. also, the hotel restaurant did not adjust prices when an ingredient was missing from a dish.

rooftop pooltemperature controlunderstaffed reception
the rooftop pool was alright. it could have used a good scrub though, i saw some hair floating around.
The room's temperature control was a joke, to be honest. you couldn't just switch on the fan. Turning the thermostat up only blasted heat, and opening the window meant the room became an icebox. my sleep wasn't exactly stellar for a couple of nights. also, the reception seemed perpetually understaffed. I waited ages just to check out.
