The hotel is close to a nice square, and the culture quarter is just around the corner. the room was a good size with a good bathroom. the staff was kind, friendly, and happy to help with everything i needed. breakfast had a good selection. I especially liked that the porridge was made to order.

the shower was quiet cold and i asked reception on the first night if they could sort it and nothing was done.

the gym is open 24 hours, that's really convenient. dove bathroom products was a nice touch, i liked the hand wash and body cream. i found the hotel clean and quiet, it was easy to relax.

The evening meal was not good. My friend ordered onion bhajis that included very little salad. Other friends asked for chips with their lasagna. The kitchen was supposedly closed and only enough chips were allocated for people. This was at 7:15 PM, though the kitchen is open for room service until 11 PM. The apple crumble tasted bland and powdery. it was the worst crumble I have ever tasted. Three of us did not finish it. We were rushed during our three-course meal.

The location was central, granting easy access to various restaurants and shops. The staff provided excellent and friendly service throughout my stay, and the room was clean with decent size. I found quick check-in a welcome convenience. The breakfast was tasty with many selections.

The bedside table had an unnecessary phone. It took up too much space. I could not move it elsewhere.
