Mediocre Stay with Some Issues

dated roomunwelcoming receptionist
I was somewhat frustrated by my stay. The room felt rather dated. There were dog hairs on the bed! (I did NOT bring a dog.) The view from the room was underwhelming. It looked out onto what seemed like a staff area. I expected more considering the price.

beautiful viewlovely staffgreat roomdated roomdirty bathroomtoilet issue
i really enjoyed my minimoon at this place! the room was amazing and the view of the lake was amazing (i couldn't stop taking pictures!). bianka served us several times in the restaurant, and she was lovely to us. the staff were all wonderful too!
my room was a real letdown. it felt dated, and i found hairs in the bathroom even after it had supposedly been cleaned. also, the toilet wouldn't flush properly unless i waited at least 20 minutes between flushes. it just didn't match the beautiful spa and restaurants, sadly.

great hotel stay

excellent serviceswift check-inown sitting areapoor direction
the reception team offered excellent service and answered every question carefully. i especially liked the do not disturb sign for my dog. parking was easy and check in was swift. the room even had its own sitting area.
the hotel gave me little direction or explanation given about the spa services. i found it especially difficult to locate the water station. i think it can improve.

the staff were perfect swift and helpful. they had time for a joke and a laugh. food was carried out to the alfresco style tables by very polite bar staff. the views were magnificent.

excellent spawelcome improvementcomfortable roomsunreliable wifiherbal teaundercooked bacon
The spa stood out with excellent management. The new women's changing rooms are an especially welcome change. I found very comfortable rooms here with all the right amenities.
The WiFi connection was sadly unreliable throughout the hotel. There was no herbal tea in the room and I expected it. Breakfast did not meet my expectations and I found the bacon undercooked.
