The staff was friendly and helpful. the room was warm, COMFORTABLE and the shower easy to adjust. i liked the easy temperature control. the views were really good and the area was GORGEOUS. It.

direct access family room
i found direct access to the tissington trail from the hotel a major plus it was perfect for cycling i had planned. our family room worked well it was a good size for us, including the dog.
the decor was dated it could use some updating.

The staff was helpful. I received clear directions and prompt service! The breakfast included fresh, beautifully presented products, I enjoyed the full English option. The hotel's direct access to the Tissington Trail was perfect. I loved my hike!

a nice stay
clean apartment comfortable bed
i enjoyed a two-night stay. room 3, an apartment, was very clean. the bed was comfortable. the apartment provided ample space. a lovely walk with amazing views is situated just behind the hotel.
their furnishings seem tired. the staff seemed indifferent. the barman watched tv when we came in. he did not turn it off.

the apartment upgrade was lovely. the staff were really friendly and helpful. the breakfast was delicious (i especially loved the sausages!). it was easy to walk to the tissington trail from here.
i did notice some dust in the corners of the room.

The staff was friendly. Ross provided helpful tips about local restaurants and attractions. I enjoyed the suggestions. The location was convenient for hiking. The accommodation was peaceful.
The shower wasn't very clean. I saw some hair in the plughole. Corners of the floor were dusty. It felt a bit dated overall.
