the location was acceptable.
The service was awful. staff were unhelpful at every turn. Getting any request fulfilled took ages. the room itself had maintenance issues, including a faulty air conditioner it was a struggle to get resolved. the whole experience felt substandard given the price.

the concierge helped organize transport and book dinner reservations. estelle and antonio made check-in smooth. the room had a comfortable bed and a massive bathroom with diptyque amenities. francisco. miguel and daniel took care of us at the tacande pool. tamara, iria, and their team were lovely at breakfast.

The hotel offers several restaurants. El mirador had beautiful ocean views. i received a nice surprise with a birthday plate. verde mar offers locally sourced vegetable forward options.

the staff was friendly and accommodative. concierge desk attendants and bartenders provided positive experiences. villa hosts toby and ivan were excellent. jeffrey in the club lounge gave great service.

The main pool was good. villa semi-private pool was peaceful. the beach was clean and beautiful. The staff was attentive. there was ample parking.

This was my third trip here in a year. The family friendly atmosphere coupled with top quality service makes this hotel stand out. The staff are very cute. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone has everything they need.
The food at the restaurants is expensive. I felt the price tag lessened the enjoyment. I tried not to dwell on the cost too much. This detracted from the overall experience.

El Mirador provides amazing ocean views during breakfast. Verde Mar offers locally sourced cuisine with unique flavors. Verona serves authentic Italian dishes. The food was AMAZING!!!

I found 5 out of 7 a la carte restaurants closed for dinner upon arrival. this wasn't obvious on the website. the verona restaurant was understaffed and slow. I waited 50 minutes for drinks. food was average at best for the price.

weatherbathroom hairspoor cleaning
the location was fine, i guess. at least the weather cooperated.
i had some serious issues with cleanliness. there were hairs in the bathroom when i arrived, and the floors didn't seem properly cleaned. i think the staff needs better training when it comes to actually cleaning a room.
