adequate but some issues need addressing

the staff were friendly and helpful when i checked in. breakfast consisted of cereal, yoghurt and muffins, a nice touch given that it was booked as a room only.
the room was quite small. the flooring had an unpleasant egg smell. i also found the bathroom privacy inadequate for my taste. this smell lingered throughout my stay, negatively impacting my experience.

Excellent Stay Above the Pub

The staff was cute and provided all necessary information upon arrival. The location proved perfect for visiting friends nearby. I was grateful for the extra effort to soundproof the rooms. I appreciated how quiet it was despite being above a pub.
I noticed the carpets in the hallway and in my room had some stains. I also had to walk down the hallway to access the fridge for milk. It was a slight inconvenience.

The pub downstairs offered tasty food and I received a 10% discount as a guest. I found many nice bars and pubs located in the area. This made dining options convenient and varied.

The room featured many options for tea and coffee and very neat place. I thought the style of the room was up to date and pleasant. The comfortable bed and great shower enhanced my stay.

Communication was excellent and the staff accommodated my late check-in. The team was kind and always available for any request. I greatly appreciated the informative and friendly assistance provided by the staff.

peaceful room near the river

i stayed in a lovely room on the top floor. this was the quietest, most peaceful room i have ever stayed at in a central area. the whole building looked recently renovated, so the room had tasteful decor. i found the food to be delicious.
The plug sockets next to the bed were a bit loose. the bathroom cleanliness could have been better. Mainly the shower needs attention. i also noticed the carpet through the hallways was badly stained.

The rooms were well decorated. guests get a discount on food downstairs in the pub. a beer garden is located out back and offers a charming, little oasis.

The staff were cute. They were also informative and friendly. i appreciated the team that went out of their way to help guests. the hostess waited to give keys to our room despite our late arrival.

i found the room to be quite small with practically no space to put anything down. there was barely enough room even for the breakfast cup, and the pastries provided were rather stale. the toilet flush was also faulty and leaked constantly. getting to the room involved navigating terribly steep and narrow stairs.
