fantastic stay!
warm welcomeample spacelarge towelsdimly lit entrance
i found the team warm and cute. the room had adequate space and included necessities for a short visit. i especially enjoyed the continental breakfast provided in the room (a lovely touch!). the large towels were a plus.
the access to the hotel rooms after pub hours is via a dimly lit entrance. i think brighter lighting or clearer signage would enhance the experience. this is a minor issue, but something i noticed.

the pub offered a great selection on the menu. all of the food tasted delicious. music on a sunday was a real treat, it. i would come back just for this.

the room was clean and tidy (i didn't find any issues at all). basic breakfast items were available in the room's fridge, like milk and yogurt. the room had everything needed for a restful night.

the staff was really friendly and helpful. they allowed me to check into my room earlier than the scheduled time. plus the staff topped up the tea, coffee, and snacks daily.

small roomunlit entrance
The room felt quite small. There was hardly enough space even for a double bed. I had to keep my suitcase in the bathroom (go figure). The entrance outside of pub hours was a bit shabby and unlit (a safety hazard, perhaps?).

the location was ideal, being only minutes from the station.
I found the room cleanliness subpar. Dust coated the desk lamp, suggesting infrequent surface wiping. the limited plug sockets were also irritating. I had to crawl under the desk to plug in my devices. they left my used spoon in the room. It was not replaced after i ate the provided yogurt.
