great LOCATION for travel

the hotel IS directly ABOVE the train station, super convenient. i liked the easy access it provided to other parts of the region, like cintra. also, being near the flat part of the city near the river made getting around VERY easy.
the ROOM felt smaller than expected, especially given the description online. i had booked a station room based on the advertised size, BUT it didn't quite match what i experienced. a couch shown in the pictures was missing.

the room featured classic art deco stylistic elements. it had high ceilings and a decent temperature, i slept pretty well. the bed was comfortable, and everything felt tidy.

staff were very polite and helpful. the hotel allowed an early check-in, which I appreciated after my long flight. responsiveness from staff was excellent.

the location IS amazing for travellers. it's close to central areas with a bus stop right NEAR the front. the train station IS also directly connected to the building.

The staff was VERY thoughtful. As a solo female traveler, I needed a place to pray. The hotel offered me a space post check out for this. It was a wonderful detail that i will never forget. Breakfast each morning was extensive and fresh.
The bar was closed on January 31st. I wanted an aperitif, but it was not possible. The bar was reserved for the nye dinner. A hotel must have more services. The minibar was not refilled daily, WHAT a shame.
