the location felt really special, set amongst beautifully landscaped grounds in a quiet spot. i received a warm welcome and was offered assistance with luggage. my room featured a great jacuzzi tub and all the details were clearly explained. the staff's professionalism stood out from check-in to the restaurant service.
i found that i had to book separate time slots for the pool, which limited flexibility .

Great Location and Clean Accommodation

The location is fantastic, surrounded by nature. The room was nice and neat. I found a bus stop about 10 minutes away by foot. The grounds and waterfalls were beautiful.
The shower temperature was either very hot or freezing cold. I found it uncomfortable.

I had pizza from the hotel bar and it was decent. The restaurant provided great food and atmosphere. The terrace offered seating.
Service
10/10
Staff were lovely and showed me to the room. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the receptionist who checked us in. The hotel staff quickly helped when my car would not start.
the cabana suite was very clean and well appointed. the grounds feature attractive woodlands and gardens. we enjoyed our meals in the hotel restaurant (the fish was beautifully cooked!). all the staff members we met were friendly and helpful.
i found the breakfast self-service a little disappointing, especially since the sausage and black pudding tasted cheap.
Dining

The hotel restaurant provided a lovely dining experience. Lots of drinks are available at reasonable prices. we especially appreciated the wood-fired pizza, available on the decking for takeaway some nights (a real treat!).

the setting is very beautiful with great woodland walks surrounding the site. this hotel is a good base from which to explore this part of wales (it is very easy to access snowdonia from here). the park is enormous, with plenty of space.
