The hosts were cute and helpful. They provided a discount for entry to Haddon Hall. The room was well lit with a range of lights. Heating was available, and I used it when the weather turned chilly. I was grateful. Breakfast was splendid, with excellent organization behind it.
The water pipes made noise. I heard sounds of other guests and it kept me awake on one of the nights.

The location suited exploring nearby attractions. It allowed easy access to various sites, including spots for evening meals.
The absence of an elevator made accessing upper floors slightly challenging. It required navigating stairs, though the staff were very helpful with luggage.

the hotel has a perfect location near restaurants, bars, and shops! the train station is also just a short walk away, i found that very useful. our breakfast each morning was delicious and we could choose precisely what we wanted from the menu.
our room was a bit smaller than anticipated. i also noticed some very minor cobwebs in the corners of the room.
