Balanced Stay with Some Issues

My daughter and I enjoyed a pamper day with a night's stay. The spa was relaxing, and we had lovely treatments. Our room was tastefully decorated, and the shower was powerful. Dinner was delicious. They remembered my gluten-free needs and adjusted the food.
The carpets was gray with dirt in many areas. An ashtray filled with cigarette butts sat by the entrance steps and remained there. Our suite didn't quite meet expectations. It had dim lighting.

spa facilities clean spa attentive staff 3 course meal
I booked a spa package. the spa facilities were great, very clean and well maintained! following the spa treatment, i went to the house for my 3 course meal. the food was really good and the staff were very cute. The staff were also attentive.
i noticed painting was required and gutters needed clearing, the hotel needed a little tlc. the menu looked good but the dishes sometimes lacked seasoning.

the location was beautiful and very peaceful. the surrounding manor and gardens offered tranquil views. the hotel provided a serene setting for relaxation and exploration, accessible for nearby attractions.

Underwhelming stay, Some issues noted
poor soundproofing dated bathroom
The staff at dinner and breakfast did perform their tasks adequately.
My experience with the room was disappointing. The soundproofing was not effective as I heard noise from the outside, disrupting my peace. The bathroom was rather dated with some visible wear and tear on the fixtures. It looked like it needed some maintenance.
