charmed by a historical gem
beautiful groundarboretum strollspacious areaair conditioning unit
the hotel showcases beautiful grounds. i took a leisurely stroll through the arboretum and enjoyed the scenery. the on-site parking area was spacious, though the spaces seemed a bit tight!
our room overlooked the kitchen area. i noticed noise from what sounded like an air conditioning unit. this was annoying during the night.

I found the staff to be unfailingly polite and helpful from check-in to check-out. The reception staff were knowledgeable and accomodating. the bar service offered a variety of cocktails, prepared by skilled bartenders. the restaurant staff provided attentiveness during dinner service

the room was large and clean i found the breakfast tasty with many options i enjoyed drinks in the bar with a good range and very nice cocktails
i found the bed super firm it was too hard for me i didn't sleep well the spa is basic i found it frustrating to sit in the sauna with workmen outside it seemed like being in a sauna on a building site

The staff was helpful. Our assigned room was not only spacious but also well-lit and easily accessible. I particularly enjoyed the excellent dinner. The prices were reasonable, and breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh choices.
My one concern was the lack of background music in the bar areas. The ambiance felt somewhat lacking.

The location is quite convenient, offering easy access to the M5. This made traveling simple. The gardens feature an outdoor bar, a lovely addition. EVERYTHING IS SO green.
