mixed feelings about the stay

lovely breakfastopaque windowloud noise
the staff were courteous and the breakfast had a lovely choice of food.
i found the room disappointing for the price i paid (it was a superior king or twin room sea view). the room was dark, and the window was opaque, so i could not look outside. i was also woken early by a very loud noise outside the window, apparently a generator for the kitchen, not acceptable considering the room cost.

A Balanced Hotel Experience

The breakfast offered a very good standard. The reception team was always friendly. Jessica was especially helpful with our questions.
The hotel may not be best for people who dislike walking. The hotel sits at the top of a steep hill. This could be a challenge for some guests.
