thorough service chinese restaurant high quality food
the room was very clean housekeeping delivered thorough service the executive club provided great breakfast and afternoon tea restaurants offered high quality food and service i especially enjoyed the chinese restaurant the peking duck was the best i had ever eaten the gym was also great

sneaky minibar misleading layout
The breakfast buffet was acceptable with a variety of foods.
The minibar setup confused me. Small packs of chocolates near the water looked complimentary. I saw about $40 SGD per day added to my bill upon checkout for them. This felt a little sneaky.

unclear guidance proactive hospitality
The breakfast had a fantastic variety of different foods available to choose from.
My room was not ready upon arrival , and the staff did not offer clear guidance. I had to suggest the pool area myself as an alternative place to relax. The absence of proactive hospitality, such as offering refreshments while I waited , was disappointing.

a decent stay
amazing gym attentive staff misleading setup unexpected charges
I found the gym to be amazing! it had several treadmills and a wide selection of weights. the staff was attentive. They always ensured i had fresh towels and water.
the minibar setup seemed a bit misleading to me. chocolates were placed near the complimentary water, and i assumed they were free, so i incurred unexpected charges. the hotel should rethink this arrangement, as it can cause confusion.

generally acceptable hotel stay
really good housekeeping diverse breakfast minibar setup bar incident
the staff was wonderful. i appreciated the really good housekeeping service, as they were both efficient and quite thorough. the diverse breakfast selection at the restaurant was excellent too. there was an american station, a european station. japanese, singaporean, chinese and indian stations.
The minibar setup was a bit confusing. there were chocolates next to the water, and i thought they were complimentary. i was surprised to see a charge of around $40 sgd per day on my bill at checkout. the bar incident i experienced was quite disappointing. I felt uncomfortable.
