superb location, excellent amenities

prime location city suite cute staff
i found the location unbeatable, it is perfect for exploring the city. the george street tram stops right outside. i was upgraded to the city suite, it was perfect. i enjoyed breakfast in the glass restaurant. vincent was super cute.
the work desk had been replaced with an awkwardly positioned low-depth table. the 4-legged low-back ikea chair proved uncomfortable. this setup impacted my comfort during work.
Location
10/10
The hotel offers a great central location, with easy access to major attractions. light rail stops right in front of the hotel and town hall train station is a short walk away. Westfield shopping mall is also easily accessible.
Service
9/10
the staff members i encountered displayed amazing friendliness and helpfulness. they were attentive to my needs throughout my stay. i especially appreciated the warm welcome from vincent during breakfast service each morning.

inadequate air conditioning impersonal checkout
The air conditioning was hard to adjust. It was either too cold OR too stuffy. I also found the minibar prices excessive. I EXPECTED a wider selection of complimentary items for a hotel of this supposed caliber. The checkout process felt impersonal and rushed. The staff seemed more focused on speed than on providing a personal touch.

Really good Stay

harbor bridge higher floor efficient check-in
Check-in was efficient. A staff member accommodated my request for a higher floor. My room offered views of the harbor bridge the tower and navy ships. The service from all the staff impressed me. The hotel tries hard to please its guests.
Noise entered rooms on higher floors. Windows had insufficient noise reduction. Humidity control was insufficient. It hovered around 70-80%.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel provides twenty-four hour access to the gym. It is next door and named fitness first. The pool is accessible during staffed hours only. There is also a marble bar with music.
Service
9/10
Staff was efficient and professional. They tried to please. Front desk workers were helpful and accommodating. This contributed to an overall positive experience. I was impressed by the attentive service.
Dining
8/10
The breakfast spread was substantial. It included many choices. I enjoyed the food and wines in the executive lounge. The dining experience contributed positively to my visit. I found a complimentary buffet breakfast.
Rooms
9/10
The room featured a comfortable bed. It included a filter water tap. The space was ample. The room was clean and well kept. I had harbour bridge views. I really enjoyed the room itself.

convenient location good breakfast pleasant staff early closure burnt fries no water
I found the location VERY convenient. It was easy to get to many attractions. The breakfast had a good variety of options. The staff were pleasant TOO.
The gym, pool, steam room, and sauna closed early on the weekends. I was not informed about this beforehand. Room service fries were burnt and not enjoyable. there was no free bottled water available IN the room.
