The staff were consistently attentive. They were always available at reception, and they responded quickly to requests. The room was clean (i noticed it immediately) and well kept. The shower had good pressure and consistent temperature. The breakfast selection was comprehensive (the pancake machine was a nice touch!).

The wifi signal was occasionally weak and dropped a couple of times.

we had two double beds during easter. it was better than one bed and a sofa bed. breakfast was good and our evening meal was ok. it was quiet even though there were many work vans parked overnight. there were a few country parks to visit.

the parking is now chargeable, at £8 per night unless you sign up for the ihg rewards program.
