broken tv random service
The room i was in felt dated. the tv had issues, and no one bothered to fix it, annoying. breakfast service felt random. Some got toast, others didn't. honestly, it could have been better.

a fair stay
clean room comfortable bed unattentive staff overpriced food
we had a family room. the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. the water was also hot.
the bar staff did not impress me. i felt they spent more time chatting than serving customers. the restaurant food seemed overpriced and the quality wasn't quite there.

fantastic stay!
helpful staff spacious room large car park
I really appreciated the helpfulness of the reception staff. the downstairs room was comfy, spacious, and dog-friendly, this worked well for us. we found the bed firm. It really suited my preference. the large car park made parking so easy.
The bar was very packed when i arrived back from a walk. I ended up having to buy cans from the shop.

Dinner included a good choice of food, it was tasty. breakfast offered a good range of options also. the staff were accommodating when ordering off menu. That's so helpful. it made the meal even better.

The room was clean and well-appointed, we could not fault it. it felt very cute and was a joy to relax in. I felt very at home. the provided dog bed and bowl was a really nice touch.

the inn boasts a lot of history and is in a superb spot. there is even a museum that highlights local smuggling and the writer of the inn. this adds an extra layer to the experience, and i learnt a lot.

the hotel includes a gift shop and a well-stocked farm shop for convenience. there is a museum on site, it displays the history of the inn. this provides additional entertainment! it's a nice extra.

star spotting great location rude behaviour bar staff
the location is awesome i heard stories about ghosts and beasts it is magnificent to spot stars there i stayed another night it was so good
the staff behind the bar needs to learn some manners urgently the rude behaviour of the bar staff ruined my whole night they could learn something from the staff at the reception or the waiters in the restaurant

the location offers convenient access and ample parking was available. the room included comfortable bed and luxurious toiletries. i enjoyed the cosy bar and restaurant. the staff were very helpful .
the breakfast offered a limited selection. the milk served was ice cold. pastries were minimal

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. i had both an evening meal and breakfast and both were really good. i'll recommend and will definitely return. the staff was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
