missing soundproofing broken machines
The location was acceptable, near public transport links.
I was given a Classic Guest room with 2 Twin or Single Beds. The room lacked proper soundproofing. I could hear noises from adjacent rooms and the hallway. The gym was small and under-equipped. Some machines were out of order and I found no available towels.

fraudulent charges city view
The breakfast buffet had a huge choice. I did liked that.
I paid extra for a city view room. But i got a view of another part of the hotel, not the city. the hotel charged me four times the full room amount without my consent. It was like a scam.

the staff were very helpful. i enjoyed a large selection at the breakfast buffet, it featured eggs cooked fresh. the lobby bar also looked elegant, it had lovely art deco.
my room was right near a delivery zone and i was woken around 6 am (this was not ideal for rest). the wi-fi was unreliable at best, it.

The room was spacious (i got a renovated one). The breakfast had great variety. The chefs cooked eggs and omelettes freshly.

the check-in process was annoying (to say the least). the receptionist didn't mention important details. i found stains on furniture and cracks on the bathroom tiles, not good at all.

art deco bar amazing decor great selection breakfast buffet helpful staff time-consuming rebook unreliable wi-fi noisy surroundings
the art deco bar had amazing decor. the breakfast buffet offered a great selection (it had everything i wanted). morning mimosas were also available at breakfast. it was very easy to get ubers to key sightseeing spots. all of the hotel staff were helpful and friendly.
i was forced to rebook at reception which was very time-consuming. the wi-fi was unreliable (i needed it for work). the room was near a delivery zone and i was woken up by delivery trucks at 6 am.

good room size comfortable bed great tv
I thought the room size was good. my bed was large and mostly comfortable, a big plus!!! the tv let me stream from my device. I loved that. the hotel gave me robes and slippers. Very thoughtful.
the aircon wouldn't go below 22 degrees and it was hot in the room.

the hotel has a location near the philarmonia and museums. the brandenburg gate and unter den linden are a walk away through the park. this allows easy access to many cultural landmarks.
