i found the rooms very clean and quite comfortable. the amenities included a gym and a meditation room that i really appreciated. its location is very convenient, a short walk to the popular higashiyama alley and nishiki market. the bakery, oh my (especially the pastries!), made breakfast a daily highlight for me.

rooftop barground floor
the rooftop bar offered excellent views. i found the bakery on the ground floor convenient. staff helped forward our luggage to tokyo. sera assisted with medical arrangements, a thoughtful gesture.
