i stayed in a superior twin room tatami floor it was a great experience the room had ample space for luggage i appreciated the cleanliness and the traditional japanese design elements the bathroom included a rainfall shower which i enjoyed the hotel's location allowed easy access to local attractions i walked to many nearby temples and shrines it was very convenient i also found several excellent restaurants within walking distance the breakfast offered a good variety of japanese and western dishes

the hotel location was perfect. it was close to everything, but outside the bustle. the room was spacious enough and the amenities were excellent. i enjoyed the traditional japanese breakfast each morning.
The bathroom reeked of urine when i first arrived to my room. Cleaners had to come clean it again. the shower curtain was a thin cheap plastic.

plus they offered a public bath, it was so nice after walking all day! i also really liked that the hotel was walkable to many restaurants and subway lines. it made getting around so easy. I was very happy with the location.
the hotel bar was good, but i think it could stay open a bit later. a few nights i wanted a drink, and it had already closed. it would be nice to relax there a bit later.

The cleanliness WAS questionable. Upon entering the room, A noticeable smell of mold PERVADED the space. this, and impacted the quality of my rest.
