really good cakes friendly staff great tea
the afternoon tea was a real highlight. the cakes stood out in particular and were really good. i easily rate it on par with what i have experienced at major london hotels. the staff proved helpful and friendly too.
i noticed some minor wear and tear on the furniture in the room. it was barely noticeable though.

an acceptable experience
clean room rubber duck faulty key room lock
the room was clean. The travel cot had been set. Baby toiletries was provided, and a rubber duck was an added bonus that my toddler loved it.
we booked a three night stay, dinner, bed and breakfast with our dog as a special treat. our room key didn't work most of the time. I kept having to go back to reception to get it reactivated. the problem wasn't resolved until an engineer reprogrammed them.

i had no hot water during the two days i stayed and i complained to reception i think they might have forgotten about it

quality toiletries temperature control high quality bed
my room included toiletries with a good scent. i noticed the room had temperature control and it worked well. the bed offered supreme high quality and i slept soundly.
i found the breakfast service was a tad slow.
