The check-in was very swift. Dinner food tasted nice. Breakfast too was good. The staff was helpful.
I found a shelf inside the bathroom was unclean. It seemed it has not received attention. A tray for hand soap would prevent some mess. The room looked otherwise clean to me.

The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and excellent pillows. Breakfast offered yogurt with berries and pastries. a full english option including black pudding. I found available parking easily upon arrival at midday. The staff were very friendly and helpful .
I noticed the windows needed cleaning, with some cobwebs and dirt visible.

i had some problems. the bathroom seemed cold because the fan was blowing cold air. the water wasn't even warm when i showered after 10pm, though it was fine the night before. i was not happy.

I was disappointed. The pub closed early on a Saturday night. It shut down at 10:30, with last orders at 10:15. This was not good. I expected more from a Cotswolds pub. This.

I stayed for several nights. the room was quite spacious (i had a beautiful king room), and the bed was comfortable. breakfast had a good selection. I liked the full english.
i noticed a few cobwebs near the windows. perhaps a little more attention to detail in cleaning would elevate the experience even further.
