great stay, one SMALL problem

great sizeseparate bathroom
my ROOM was a great SIZE. the bathroom was TOTALLY separate from main room. I liked that layout.
the lights switches were confusing to manage. the doorbell sound was too soft AT least for elderly. tv too complicated to use and not working when we arrived and had to get a technician twice. shower body wash too hard to squeeze.

the room was a great size, bathroom totally seperate from main room.
the light switches presented a puzzle. the doorbell was barely audible. the television was overly complex and non-functional upon arrival, requiring two visits from a technician. i also found the body wash dispenser difficult to squeeze.

feather pillowsgluten freedusty towels
the pillows supplied were feather free per my request due to allergies. i found gluten free options available and prepared individually at the place. checkout was simple around 11am when other guests arrived.
The towels felt dusty. They had clumps of dust from the silver rack. there was some noise on the floor and this affected my sleep quality. this wasn't the hotel's fault, though.

the room included luxurious lighting and nice fittings. it seemed like a five star hotel similar to what you see in the movies! my room offered a fine clock tower view.

Breakfast had barista made coffee in a amazing heritage room. the bridge breakfast was delicious with a very wide choice. the restaurants and bar featured warm and friendly communication. The staff was professional.

the location is nice for shopping and restaurants. the gym has modern equipment. i found the hotel to be close to many restaurants, shops and trams, everything is within walking distance.

constant noisepoor soundproofing
the room was quite noisy the trams outside kept me awake all night the staff should have considered this when assigning rooms i left with a headache after only two nights sleep was impossible because of the constant noise i think the hotel needs better soundproofing or at least inform guests about the potential for noise in certain rooms

The location was GREAT. It was right in the middle of everything. The room was quite spacious with lounge chairs. I also received complimentary water.
I discovered a surcharge for using my credit card. I asked the assistant manager to void the transaction so I could pay cash. the transaction was NOT voided. I now face a double charge.

a pleasant city stay

my room had nice lounge chairs. breakfast included a wide selection of food and i liked the omelette with sun dried tomatoes, feta and mushrooms. the coffee pod machine was useful and complimentary water was provided. i found the location excellent, right in the middle of the central business district.
finding local channels on the television was not easy! the access to wi-fi wasn't intuitive. there were no instructions in the room to log on either.

The breakfast offered a wide variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the omelette with sun dried tomatoes and feta. coffee was readily available with a coffee pod machine in the room. This allowed for a quick morning beverage. complimentary water bottles were also provided each day.
