a good urban escape!

the location was awesome for exploring. i could easily walk to major attractions. i especially liked having a grocery store right on the corner. the staff were wonderfully helpful, always ready with a smile and assistance. the rooftop view from the pool area was amazing! the breakfast buffet was AMAZING!!! so many delicious options, and everything was always fresh.
the shower design allowed water to spray onto the floor. i needed extra towels to mop it up each time.

The room was not up to standard. it lacked a refrigerator, also a toilet brush was missing. there was excessive dust throughout the room. the food was poor. The breakfast cost nearly 300 euros extra. it provided only some fruit and bread that was hard.

the location was convenient, a short walk to the metro. it was also close to la rambla, so it was easy to explore the city. breakfast included a generous selection, a wide variety of choices suiting most tastes.
the surrounding area has a high crime rate. as a woman, i did not feel safe walking in the neighbourhood, especially at night. there were no toilet brushes in the bathrooms, even after i requested one, i was told they weren't available.

I found the hotel close to many attractions. The location allowed easy access to the marina and Las Ramblas. It was quite convenient. I also appreciated the comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast offered a varied selection of foods and drinks.
I noticed the shower sprayed water outside onto the floor. This happened every time I used it. It was a bit inconvenient.

I was annoyed by a few things. the lack of a mini fridge was a real pain (especially since i had leftovers). the walls also seemed paper thin. I could hear everything happening in the hallway and adjacent rooms. it was hard to get a decent night's sleep with all the noise. i found this unacceptable.
