The hotel provided fresh fruits, chocolate truffles and bottled water in my room. Breakfast included a huge variety of western and Middle Eastern food. That was helpful. The pool area is large. It has several options for adults and children, which I noticed. The view of the desert and sunset from the pool was lovely.
The hotel is distant from the city center, something to note.

the breakfast had wide selections and fresh ingredients. the adults pool area had attentive staff. i also liked the arabic design. it really gives you a feel for the region.

i found the check in process very efficient. i received a welcome drink upon arrival which was refreshing. the whatsapp concierge service was very useful and responsive. i booked a desert safari directly through the hotel and it was an lovely experience. the guides were knowledgeable and professional and it highlighted the stay.
the gym equipment seemed a bit dated for such a prestigious hotel but that didn't stop me from using it.

the location provided a peaceful escape from the city. access to the desert landscape created a unique and serene experience. the resort grounds offered immediate immersion into the natural environment which was perfect.
