The location is very central. City Hall MRT station is within walking distance. Raffles City Shopping Centre is across the road. It offers shops and a supermarket. Many restaurants are nearby, including CHIJMES and Suntec.
The hotel rooms seemed somewhat aged though they were clean.

disturbance issue
I was not happy with a few things. I also noticed the cleaning lady came into my room even though I had the do-not-disturb sign displayed. This was very frustrating, as I value my privacy, and it. I really did not want to be disturbed.

The location is near City Hall MRT station. This made getting around easy. The Raffles City Shopping Centre offered various shops. I found many restaurants nearby. The hotel features clean rooms and meets expectations.
The check-in trainee forgot a form. This required a late-night call. It disrupted my baby's sleep.

Cafe Mosaic provided dinner. I received warm service from Mr Stewart and Ms Ailee. They surprised me with their hospitality and attentiveness. I enjoyed the food here.

The gym was a great facility. It had a good selection of equipment for a decent workout (I really enjoyed the treadmills!). The location was ideal to walk to the convention center.
The wait staff in the Mosaic restaurant seemed tired. They were also somewhat inefficient. The rooms felt dated and needed a refresh.

the hotel has a wonderful location. the staff's efficiency started a wonderful experience as soon as i stepped out of transport. all the staff throughout the carlton were friendly and helpful. the breakfast area was nicely set out. the food was good with a buffet that had something for everyone.
adjoining rooms aren't soundproof, i could hear the tv and talking next door! the bathroom had mold and the ceiling was full of plaster patches.

the hotel has a pool area with sun loungers and a poolside bar. you can have lunch and refreshments there. the gym includes a powerlifting platform and squat rack. it also has kettlebells and dumbbells.

The staff were friendly and helpful. the duty manager, mr stewart, was helpful and offered a complimentary car park coupon. staff gave me training tips. they ensured every guest had a great workout experience, the staff were excellent.

The mosaic cafe offers a 50% discount for the buffet right now. foods are great. there is a lot of variety in the buffet options. taxedo café is a highlight. Cake and coffee were really good.

The room was spacious, complete with everything i needed. i slept comfortably, the bed was really good. i walked from the mrt city hall station about 300 meters. rooms were comfortable and clean, with a good layout. The room was super clean.
