Really good Staff and Beautiful Scenery

The staff was amazing. Every member provided excellent service. I enjoyed the warm welcome from the reception staff and doorman (very friendly!). The grounds are fine, with beautiful gardens plus art and golf facilities along the river. I was able to walk the K trails and experience the estate from a new perspective.

The room was very comfortable and styled in keeping with the hotel's ethos. The bedding was plush. This ensured the best rest in large suites, and I had a relaxing stay. Daily newspapers were provided, as well.

Really good Stay

The staff parked our car upon arrival. A staff member then escorted us to our room. I stayed in the beautiful double or twin room. The room provided a lovely view of the garden, it was huge. The facilities and gardens were top class.
The bedding had a stain, and a small ottoman at the end of the bed was quite dirty, BUT they resolved it.

Breakfast had plenty of options. Dinner options offered a variety. I ate in the south restaurant overlooking the golf course. The view WAS beautiful.

the steam room and sauna are too small. they are within the changing rooms. it was difficult.

I found the breakfast generous, with items prepared and cooked á la carte. the staff was attentive. the hotel grounds are fine, so well maintained it was lovely to walk around. i must mention the sommelier. They were very helpful and friendly.
Previous guests had left clothes in the wardrobe. They were never collected, despite my request.

The gardens are top class. I enjoyed the lovely view from the beautiful double or twin room. Staff parked my vehicle upon arrival. A staff member escorted me to my room. I found this quite helpful.
I reported that the bedding was stained. The small poof at the end of the bed was quite dirty. I only wanted the bedding changed. I felt the offered room move was unnecessary and a bit disrespectful.
